Italy is the country where you fall in love, as anyone who has been there knows. It may be something in the air, or in the beauty of the landscapes, the sweetness of the climate, the charm of the architecture that naturally provokes the noblest of emotions. In Italy, passion is purer. This is the theme of the 2011 Lavazza calendar: an ironic, surreal, passionate and light-hearted photographic tale by the American Mark Seliger. Born in Texas in 1959, his first professional job was for Rolling Stone, and in a 10-year period he produced over 125 covers for them and numerous music videos.
